+ Points in articles need to be very clear and broken down. You need to start with the most important point, they need to go in a logical order and they need to build off each other.
+ Wednesdays are reserved for podcasts so if we see an open slot there it’s because Antonio hasn’t recorded it yet.
+ We have a new document with potential headlines and talking points! I only need to submit basic section headings as talking points at this stage, which means I’ve wasted some time doing unnecessary research for in-depth talking points. So I need to get better at asking the right questions – being aware of when I’ve assumed something and don’t know it (in this case, how much detail to use.) I wonder if there are any resources online about that.
+ I’ve decided to restart my prompt sheet from scratch as the structure I’m using doesn’t sit right with my brain. I’ll build it alongside writing my articles and add in the advice I receive each day.
One thing I did to embody the 10 Commandments: I’ve been working on the ‘Dedicated’ part – Travis reminded me of the requirement to work just 40 focused hours per week and not go over that. Having been used to freelancing, I’m finding that I’m more productive when I can do my work in bursts throughout the day rather than in one 8-hour block with a short break in the middle, so I’m going to use a work timer to keep myself accountable so I don’t go over 40 hours.
I also want to work on getting faster so that I can get more into those 40 hours.
