SOP For Leading Creative Team Meetings

For leading Creative Team Meetings:

When needed, have specific questions for specific people ready beforehand.

  1. Send the meeting agenda 3 hours before the meeting.
  2. Greet everyone and check if the team is complete.
  3. Make announcements (people on leave and who’s going to cover for who)
  4. Focus on the agenda for the meeting.
  5. Finalize the angle first then the hook (we can discuss titles/thumbnail ideas in the future)
  6. Questions we must ask before choosing any angle:
    • Is this topic/angle interesting to our audience? THIS IS 95% Of THE SUCCESS OF THE VIDEO
    • Does this video solve a burning problem for the audience?
    • Have we/or anyone else made a video on this before? If so, how did it perform relative to other videos?
    • What is the value proposition of the video? Entertain, Educate or Inspire?
    • If this is an SEO video, what is our main keyword? Do we have a chance to rank for it
  7. Be strict with the time (5 minutes max). The focus is to get ahead on schedule.
  8. Ask the team to make suggestions on the hook of the video.
  9. Update InfluenceKit as you go through the agenda with the team.
  10. If the lead has the work on another task (Michael working on thumbnails), ask another person to share their screen to update InfluenceKit.

1. Find a client by his email address
2. Click his name
3. Scroll and click “Orders”
4. If there are multiple orders, find a needed one
5. Click that order and scroll to the very bottom
6. Click “Preview invoice”
7. Click “Email invoice”
8. In opened window you may changes email subject and body. Do not touch anything else.

10 Commandments Working For RMRS

  1. Communication

    Let Your Team Know What Is Going On – Email when assignments received, ask questions early, and make sure you are clear on the direction and WHY we do what we do. If you do something that affects others – let them know. You should have people’s Skype, email, and phone number just in case of an emergency. On the flip side – don’t waste people’s time with information they DO NOT need – aka don’t just cc Antonio because you want to  – no, think about who you are emailing or calling and share relevant info in a timely manner.

  2. Take The initiative

    If you see a problem, FIX it! If you don’t know how to fix it, then talk to someone on the team who can help you or raise it to a manager’s attention if you feel it is important enough. Never assume other people will do what you can take care of when you spot it. Also if you spot processes or systems that can be improved upon – do it! I reward people for taking action – even if they make mistakes. Not taking action is the worst thing you can do and it is a decision. You are a skilled artist in your own discipline – see opportunities for your skills with my company and tell me where I can best use your skill-set!

  3. Systemize Everything You Do

    If you do something more than once, you should have a checklist that you follow when doing it. Astronauts, Jet Pilots, & Doctors use checklists as they eliminate error and free up your limited willpower to focus in on new tasks that require your higher level of cognitive thinking. Like a glass of water – you only have so much brainpower in a day. DO NOT waste it on repetitive tasks (- checklists free you to think on new things and get through old tasks without error and without having to think too much. All checklists should be at a central location and you need to make them unique to your requirements. Update them regularly.

  4. Execute the Task On Time 

    Finish Assignments on time. When you work with others or need something from others – give them a timeframe to complete and deadline as to when you need it. Work must always be completed by the deadline…..better for it to
