Facebook Group – Dapper Dog Club

This is the SOP to the Dapper Dog Club Facebook group. It’s different from the rules of the RMRS Facebook group as we focus on strategies for the channel and getting suggestions from the members.

  1. When adding members to the group – Accept the people who answered all 3 questions. Decline who doesn’t answer everything.
  2. Remind people to read the rules when they post irrelevant topics. e.g. People who ask for feedback and suggestions there. (Do Not Block Them)

SOP For Uploading Instagram Stories

We use Instagram stories to promote updates and videos about Real Men Real Style. The feature feels much like Snapchat Stories and uses a vertical format for images and videos.

  1. Instagram stories image size – 1080px wide by 1920px tall. An aspect ratio of 9:16.
  2. To create a story on Instagram, you have to tap a new “+” icon at the top left-hand corner of the screen, or you can reveal the story camera by simply swiping left.
  3. Once the story camera is open you can take a photo or record a video, just as you would normally on Instagram.
  4. Once your story is posted you can also view some basic analytics, to show you how many times each post in your story has been viewed and who has viewed it. When watching your own story, swipe up to check out this data and who’s seen each photo and video.
  5. How to add content from images you’ve downloaded –  simply swipe up on the stories camera, and you’ll see the latest content from your camera roll appear at the bottom of your screen.
  6. To add stickers to your story, take a photo or video and then tap the Stickers button (a smiley face in the top right of the screen) to find customizable stickers for weather, the current time, location and more.
  7. You can add a hashtag to your Instagram story by tapping the hashtag sticker.
  8. Adding a poll to your stories – After you’ve taken a photo or video for your story, open up the Stickers menu and select the “poll” sticker. Once you’ve tapped the “poll” sticker, Instagram will prompt you to write a question and customize the poll choices. After you’ve created your poll, post your story and your followers will be able to vote right away.

Photoshoot (picking best images and uploading to Flickr)

1. Download all the images.

2. Delete all bad images: out of focus, with closed eyes (if it wasn’t intentionally), with motion blur issues.

3. Delete duplicates (if photographers took 2 or more exactly same images, you can leave one – the best).

4. Upload to Flickr with next settings:

– images should be private

– images should be placed to the right album (shoes to the “Shoes”, shirts to the “shirts”)

– images should be tagged precisely (add as many tags as you can, try to mention sponsor (if image show sponsors product), mention the emotion showed, style (formal/casual, mention colors and types of clothing (red tie, blue shirt).… Read the rest

SOP for Adding Social Media Deliverables to InfluenceKit

We add social media links to Influence Kit to send the overall social engagement report to our sponsors (for posts we’ve published on social media to promote the video)

  • To add social links to Influence Kit, click on the scheduled post in the content calendar.

  • Click on DELIVERABLES then you can start adding the social links you’ve copied from each website. You can insert the link in the text box and it will automatically create a separate text box for the social link.

 

1. Facebook – Go to the post you’ve published.

    • Click on the ellipsis button, then click on the EMBED option.
    • You’ll get a pop up message to embed the code. Click on advanced settings to get the right link to the post. (Short link)
    • It will redirect you to the Facebook developer page. Copy and paste the link as shown below

2. Instagram Stories – You can automatically insert Instagram story posts in InfluenceKit by clicking on the Stories option in Deliverables and choose from the latest posts you’ve uploaded. Then click on Add Selected to add the image to Influence Kit.

4. Instagram Posts – Click or tap on the sponsor promotion then copy-paste the link to InfluenceKit.

3. Pinterest – Click on the image or video you pinned then copy-paste the link to InfluenceKit.

4. Twitter – Click on the more button (down arrow) then choose COPY LINK TO TWEET.

 

5. LinkedIn – Go to the posts you’ve created and click on the ellipsis button for more. Choose COPY LINK TO POST then add it to InfluenceKit.

 

Continue to add links to InfluenceKit when you promote the video/article again.… Read the rest

First is MANUAL option and delivers twice as much views per same amount spent. So this IS preferable and the one we want to use for future promotions:
